Glenn & Michele Hires
Senior Pastor
Pastor Glenn Hires was raised in Pierson, Florida, and answered the call to ministry after studying aviation electronics. He attended Texas Bible College, where he met his wife, Michele. Together, they began their ministry in Georgia before moving to DeLand in 1990 to pastor The Pentecostals of DeLand.
For more than 30 years, Pastor Hires has faithfully served the church and held several leadership roles within the Florida District UPCI. His servant-hearted leadership, faith, and vision have helped shape POD into the thriving church family it is today. Pastor and Sis. Hires have two children, six grandchildren, and more than four decades of marriage and ministry together.
Jimmy & Holly Rivera
Administrative Pastor & Music Director
Jimmy was raised in a pastoral family and felt God’s call to ministry at an early age. He earned a BA in Theology from Christian Life College and has served in evangelistic and pastoral ministry. Today, he serves as Administrative Pastor at The Pentecostals of DeLand, helping lead church operations, ministry teams, and discipleship efforts.
Holly was born and raised in DeLand and earned a BA in English from the University of Central Florida. Her family has been part of the church since its founding, and she now serves as Music Director, leading the church in worship. Married in 2021, Jimmy and Holly are passionate about serving their church family and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Brett & Kara Hires
Redeemed Campus Pastor
Brett was born in Albany, Georgia, and studied theology at Texas Bible College before serving as Youth Pastor at The Pentecostals of DeLand. Kara was raised in Central Florida and grew up attending POD with her family.
In 2018, Brett and Kara planted Redeemed Pentecostal Church in the Orange City/Deltona area, where they continue to serve their community and help people belong, grow, and become equipped for ministry. Married in 2012, Brett and Kara have three children and share a passion for serving God, their church, and their community as a family.
